The Unbought & Unbossed Academy

The mission of the Unbought & Unbossed Academy is to establish a transformative, trauma-informed ecosystem where Black women transition from traditional employment into sustainable entrepreneurship. Rooted in somatic healing, co-operative economics— guided by ancestral wisdom, for our collective liberation. The Unbought & Unbossed Academy offers one-on-one coaching, group coaching, and operates the Council of Builders. The Council of Builders is an initiative under the Unbought & Unbossed Academy, led by Najmah Ahmad. The Council will bring together Black women committed to building our new world. Participants will have the opportunity to be matched into teams to build businesses or strategic initiatives that generate innovative solutions—while expanding capacity to create wealth and strengthen communities. Whether or not participants are matched into teams, the group will create a collective vision for our new world. Participants will form an ecosystem of space holders and world builders working together to strengthen Black economic power and community resilience.
